IDProtect Client

Athena’s multi-factor authentication technology enables
organisations to incorporate ‘something the user knows’,
‘something the user has’ and ‘something the user is’ within a
single secure cryptographic device which can be safely deployed among employees or customers as required.
Athena’s authentication technology stack consists of secure devices, middleware and card readers —IDProtect Client is the middleware providing the important link between users credentials, stored on a secure device, and client authentication systems.
IDProtect Client offers issuers the flexibility to deploy multi-factor authentication solutions within mixed network topologies iincluding Microsoft Windows, LINUX and Apple Mac OSX on both 32bit and 64bit systems. For Windows systems IDProtect Client can be installed as either a CSP or Minidriver.
